We are in Park City, Utah~ Sundance Tomorrow!
Wow, what a day. We arrived in Salt Lake in a snow storm that became a blizzard as we climbed a mountain to get to Park City. I 80 was closed for a while so the snow plows could clear the road. The CHP was only letting 4 wheel drive vehicles over the pass. Our driver Bryant (yes there is a t at the end of his name), came with a huge Suburban that fit the bill. It turns out he is a drag race driver in his spare time, and knows his way around in snow. I was amazed and felt very safe. For those of you who know me, I haven’t felt truly safe with anyone else driving since I was in a serious car accident in 1968, and broke my neck and compressed fractured 3 vertebra between my shoulder blades.
We arrived her (Park City) three hours later than planned so my cousin Susan and Bob hiked in the snow to Whole Food to get food for dinner while I organized things here. I got the better end of that deal.
We are now one hour ahead of you all in Calif., and two hours behind you all on the East Coast.
We plan to watch the Patriots and the Ravens then the 49’s and the Giants. We may not get to watch much of the second game, because we are attending the Official Premier Dinner Party for the movie! I’m really looking forward to seeing many of the cast and crew again.
Signing off for now. Very tired. Love~~ Cheryl
